MBA programmes offered by India’s top Engineering colleges
India has over 5,500 B-schools but only a limited number of them is able to offer quality education and produce excellent candidates. Apart from the IIMs and about 30 non-IIMs, none of the MBA schools have been able to match requirements of the rapidly changing job market. According to a report by ASSOCHAM Education Committee (AEC) released in 2016, only 7 per cent of the pass-outs are actually employable in India except graduates from IIMs.
The IIMs have ruled the management education in India for a long time now. The top three IIM campuses IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta have not only been reigning over the rest in India but have also found themselves at respectable positions in world rankings over the years.

Although, there’s no better place than a B-school to earn a management degree from; these colleges hold their own in terms of the best of infrastructure, faculty and curriculum. Secondly, it is relatively easier to get through these colleges as the competition is less compared to top management institutes. Thirdly, these colleges are best suited for engineering graduates as most of these colleges prefer candidates with engineering degree for MBA programmes.
Most importantly, seat intake number in MBA in engineering colleges is far lesser than in a B-school which puts the candidate in a better position viz opportunities of learning and network building.
