MDI Gurgaon part-time PGPM applications out

MDI Gurgaon has opened applications for its three-year part-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) for the batch starting in April 2014. According to the official notification, “Managers/Executives of Private, Public, and Government Undertakings and State and Central Government Departments posted in and around National Capital Region are the potential candidates. Entrepreneurs from family business(es) are also eligible to apply.” Currently, part-time PGPM is offered twice a year – in April and October.

Eligibility 

• Three-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognised by Association of Indian Universities/AICTE,
• At least 50% marks in 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent CGPA, and
• Minimum of three years of post qualification executive work experience (excluding stipendiary / training period) as on March 31, 2014 for April 2014 Batch and 30th September, 2014 for October 2014 Batch.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on written test conducted at MDI Gurgaon. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for Interview at MDI Gurgaon.

How to Apply

The prospectus and application forms are available on payment of Rs 1800. One can collect it from Room No 4 Gurukula Building, MDI Gurgaon Campus. For online submission, visit here and fill in the required application form. Print a hard copy of the application receipt generated online and attach recent passport size photograph. Send it via courier to MDI, Gurgaon along with a DD for Rs 1800 favouring Management Development Institute, payable at New Delhi. Alternately, payment can be made online via credit card/debit card/internet banking.

Entrance Test and Interview

The written admission test is “on similar lines/of the same pattern as the Common Admission Test (CAT)”. Tentative dates are February 2, 2014 (Sunday) for April 2014 Batch and July 27, 2014 (Sunday) for the October 2014 Batch. Shortlisted candidates will be called after a week (tentative) on February 16, 2014 (Sunday) for April 2014 Batch and on August 3, 2014 (Sunday) for October 2014 Batch.
