MICAT II exam results have been declared.

Earlier, MICAT II results were expected to be declared in the month of March 2016.

Shortlisted candidates in MICAT II will have to appear for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI). GE and PI rounds will be held at MICA campus, Ahmedabad.

Registration for MICAT II ended on January 31, 2016. Check out important dates for MICAT. Candidates applying for MICAT II will need to submit CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT (2012 onwards) scores.

 

MICA Admission Test (MICAT) II

4 points to keep in mind for MICAT 2016

MICAT is a computer-based entrance test for MICA's flagship course Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C). The programme focuses on Strategic Marketing and Communication.

According to the official website, “The admission test, is a multidimensional examination which assesses candidates in areas such as:

  • Divergent thinking abilities
  • Written communication abilities
  • General awareness about contemporary socio- political and business issues, including areas relevant to media, marketing, advertising and current affairs
  • Analytical and verbal abilities”

 

MICAT exam was held for 125 minutes. It had two sections.

  • Section 1 assesses the candidates’ analytical skills, logical skills, verbal skills, divergent thinking, written communication skills and general awareness.
  • Section 2 consists of a Psychometric Test.

 

Earlier this year, MICA announced various changes in the exam pattern of MICAT. The selection process (GE-PI) for PGDM-C 2016-18 will happen twice.

The first phase of MICAT exam was held on December 13, 2015. Results of the same were declared on December 23.
