It was right after my 12th standard that I found my inclination towards Commerce and I chose B.Com (Computer Application) course. While pursuing my degree, I got to know about the Company Secretary course and I joined a separate coaching institute for the same. It was the period when the seed of curiosity for Business Management was sown in me.

It was right after the second last semester of my degree when I applied for almost all MBA entrance exams. Anyhow I had dreamt to enter the corporate world with the best knowledge I could get, and the first step towards it was to get a good MBA college. So, right after the degree results, I used to browse through various college websites checking for eligibility based on marks etc. While going through interviews I got to know about the PGDM course which is also one among the courses that are being offered by premier Institutions like IIMs and AICTE approved colleges. I managed to get through some of the Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) which are the part of selection process of any good B-School. I chose TSM as it is one among the foremost Business Schools in India. The fee structure of the courses are comparatively low.

I applied in IMS coaching institute for CAT and other entrance exam preparation like MAT, XAT etc. I managed to get above 50% in all the exams I appeared. I cracked the first level i.e. the minimum eligibility to get into any good Business School. The later stages were followed up by the Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT) and finally Personal Interview (PI). At the end after all my efforts, I received a call letter for the GD, WAT and PI from TSM B-school.

Institution is located amidst a lot greenery. TSM gives a feeling of continuously being connected to nature. TSM provides state-of-the-art technology and support all the students, faculties and supporting staffs. The campus is completely Wi-Fi enabled with high speed internet connection.

To spend our leisure time TSM Clubs are available to make the students to get involved in knowing the current happenings in the field of business. Also, cultural and sports clubs were active.

TSM opens multiple doors with opportunities for you to flourish as an individual. I am currently a member of Admission Cell, also an active member of Zero Gravity which takes care of the cultural activities and conducts several competitions and events. Being a part of these clubs, it not only brings joy and pleasure but also gives a hands on experience and moulds us with value driven leadership, managers and global players.

Perhaps one of the most beneficial aspects of getting involved in these clubs is that, it offers you the chance to develop and build skills that you wouldn't get to do otherwise. Clubs also give me the opportunity to develop hard skills which I may or may not learn in the classroom.

Participating and working with others help you to round out your soft skills.

It's a way to build your professional skills including leadership, teamwork, communication and prioritization. All these skills are necessary for students applying for jobs and internships. It is also a brilliant way to acquire these skills than just listing them on a resume.
