Choosing the right college should be a priority: Abhijeet Parmar

I did my high schooling from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and had chosen Commerce as my subject. When I was in standard 11 and 12, I was very good in Accounts and Statistics which resulted in many people advising me to pursue C.A. after completion of 12^th standard, but I had already started working on my plan – I wanted to do BBA and then pursue MBA. I was clear that choosing a course for myself would be one of the biggest decisions of my life, thus I had to make a wise choice.

After completion of my board examination, when I started preparing for entrance examinations of various colleges and universities, the only problem I faced was choosing right college that could give me the best exposure for my higher studies. To make sure that I chose the right college for myself, I appeared for the entrance test of many Universities like Christ Bangalore, Symbiosis Pune, Nirma University, IIM Indore and O.P. Jindal Global University.

That time I had wrong assumption that IIM Indore is the only institute that provided the best five years in Integrated BBA-MBA course. After clearing all the exams and interviews with flying colours, I choose O.P. Jindal Global University and opted for BBA-MBA Integrated programme (Dual-Degree).

For the very first time I had to stay alone, away from my home. At that time I was a little worried about the decision of choosing this University, but slowly I realised that I made a very good choice by choosing O.P. Jindal Global University. This University provides world class education and has an amazing infrastructure. The key advantage of this University is the immensely experienced faculty who imparts thorough knowledge.

The University provides various amenities and there is immense scope for extra activities like games, music, and dance. Numerous functions are organised frequently which refreshes the minds of the students and helps them study with more enthusiasm and passion. The University is built on a large area. The flora and fauna of the university is amazing, and helps students relax.

The university is being managed by ‘Sodexo’, a French Multi-National Company which provides hospitality services throughout the world. According to me, O.P. Jindal Global University should not be a student’s option, instead should be one’s priority. This university is an ocean of opportunity.
