Mystory@Dr S Pruthviraja Pande: Focus only on one stream

As I belonged to a poor family from a rural village, I did not either have a guide or a goal in my college days as the survival itself was a competence. But always I used to work part-time and raise my resources. Due to difficulties, depressions and effects of adolescence, I failed in my PUC. Later, I had to join the IAF when I just completed 18 years. But from then I took it as a challenge to complete all the academic qualifications either by private or correspondences throughout my life. The deciding factors were poverty, survival, bad friend circle, un-focused aims and goals. If given a chance today, of course, I would focus on one stream or curriculum of education and get focused to accomplish my goal and would surely be an extra-ordinary human being.

As I mentioned earlier, due to poverty and need of survival, I took anything and everything that came in my way. I was a bright student and even though I cleared many competitive exams and got the best jobs due the grace of God, I should have focused on clearing my IAS/IPS/IRS. Yes, at times I too feel that I made a mistake of getting into many competitive exams and many Central Government Bodies where I had to lose my seniority and begin from the scratch. But still, God’s grace, my efforts, commitments and skills have worked for me in my past which I am realising now when I look back at my life.

I obtained my MA degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad and did my Diploma from Air Force Technical College, Bangalore and I also did Diploma in Film Direction from R.K. Institute of Film Technology, Pune. I did MCom from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra and MBA from Rai University. Also, I did my MPhil from Alagappa University and PhD from Ravenshaw University. Currently, I am waiting for my DLitt result from Rani Channamma University.

I have directed 2 Serials, and a couple of Add films, Short Films in the Field of Entertainment. I wrote around 25 books in Kannada out of which the 5^th one has gone for publication and 3 books have already been released. I did couple of Engineering/Technical Inventions and submitted to the Indian Railways, Department of Power Ministry which are getting developed in our MSRIT. Presently, I am working on invention of my third power project.

For career selection I would suggest to focus on one stream of education like Technical, Managerial, Accounting, Administrative, Science, Commerce, Art. Also, talking about professional life, it is better to continue in one department unless you might witness remarkable differences both socially and financially, if you change your present job.

In the end I would like to tell the world that there should be no place for hate and revenge in this world.
