Mystory@Ninu Tyagi: How I selected my career
I completed my 12th in 2002, from CBSE Board-Gujarat. At that time there was merit counselling in the state. My father wanted me to pursue BE in graduation and I wanted to learn more about the computer system so, I decided to opt for BE Computers from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Vasad which was affiliated to Gujarat University. After completing my BE, I started working as a lecturer of Computers in Sigma Institute, Vadodara where I took up subjects like C and C++ including Data structures and report making for final year project in Diploma.
Our family had to relocate to Dehradun during this period, as my father had a transferable job. At that point when I was busy enjoying my work life, my father suddenly became reluctant about my marriage. But, I had some other plans in order to build my future. I was planning to pursue with an MBA in HR programme to build my career as an HR Executive. But my father was concrete with his decision which landed me getting married to my long time known friend. After marriage, I started my PGDM in HR from Symbiosis Centre of Distance Learning as a correspondence course.

If given a chance, I would have pursued B.Sc. in Zoology as I always wanted to know more about living beings. I was always fascinated to learn about how living beings function and how every system in the living body is so well organized while constituting the whole living structure with perfection. After learning about the systems I would have pursued Human Psychology as my Masters subject as it is equally fascinating to know the thought process of humans and then understand different emotional moods a human mind goes through in the course of life.
My college experience
I never had an idea about life at college. All my friends always told me the fascinating facts but what I experienced is totally different from their stories. The thing I liked the most was the “No dress code” rule, no morning assemblies. But, I hated the fact that the teachers were a mere fun object for students. Being a teacher myself and now a student, this was a matter of great shame. The so called introduction/induction week or the right word would be ragging was the worst part. Students were harassed in front of thousand students.
Me being a decent personality, never interfered in such activities. Although, I couldn’t manage to escape and was about to become a victim while travelling in the college transport on my way back home. A group of seniors tried to harass me when one of my college faculty from the Mechanical Engineering Department intervened and warned them for their acts. Usually any of the facultys do not intervene in such acts as the seniors badmouth them or even pass comments. This one knew his responsibilities of being a faculty member unlike others. I may not disclose the name but just want to say that I will always respect him and he will always be one among my favorites.

Hi all!! This is Ninu Tyagi, a mother of four year old. I had a passion for writing poems which I started when I was in 10th standard. The biggest achievement remains a FIRST POSITION in Poem recitation Competition at school level where my younger sibling recited the poem written by me (if I get the chance will share it with you all). I have completed my BE in Computers in 2007 from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology followed by correspondence course in PGDM in HR from Symbiosis Centre for Distance learning, Pune. Wish to recreate the passion of my hobby which is writing. Other hobbies include reading books, watching comedy movies and shows, enjoying old and slow music.
