I did my graduation in BCom from Seva Sadan College, Ulhasnagar. After my graduation, I wanted to pursue MBA, and in order to secure admission in a good B-school, I appeared for MAH CET in February 2016. I scored 65.02% and tried to secure a seat in any of the top ten colleges offering PGDM programmes.

I wanted to get enrolled at SIES College of Management Studies, Prin. LN Welingkar Institute of Management or MET Institute of Management. I had to appear for the GD/PI rounds, the form of which costed around Rs 1500 per college. I did not get through the GD/PI rounds of any of these colleges.

Soon, I got a message from Oriental Institute Management, Vashi that I had been selected for the PGDM programme there. I opted for Masters in Management Studies (MMS) the fee of which was around Rs 3,20,000 for 2 years. The college faculty is highly experienced and I would rate their teaching techniques as 10/10. Special sessions are also conducted from time-to-time that help us gain knowledge apart from the syllabus.

Extra-curricular activities like business games, sports and joy of living are organised. One thing that I think is missing in my college is the hostel facility. Since there is no hostel, students who do not belong to Mumbai face issues.
