Mystory@Sundeep: How I selected my course and made my career

There are numerous courses that you can take admission to. But I always wanted to choose the one which was of value in the corporate world. Thus, I took admission to GGNIMT(Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology), Ludhiana after appearing for MET exam. I secured a rank of 800 in the exam.

I took up BSc for my bachelors to make a career in the hospitality industry. The scope of hotels, tourism and airlines in Punjab was pretty good. I then moved on to pursue my MBA. Before opting for this course, I researched a lot about the Ludhiana market which had a thriving hosiery industry. Therefore, I enrolled myself for an MBA programme through online counselling. I chose Marketing as my MBA specialisation as I wanted to become a department head in reputed company. I also have plans to move my base to Canada after taking a PR(Permanent Residency).  

While pursuing MBA, I attended my management classes by HOD Parvinder Singh. He played a vital role in making me realise the value of my life and also helped in getting work.  He encouraged students to do things in an organized and effective way and taught us extra marketing techniques.

The debates and group discussion that I was a part of in college helped boost my confidence and interpersonal skills. I used to read books and articles in the library which gave me a positive vibe.

I am Sundeep Singh and have pursued my MBA(Marketing) from GGNIMT college. I completed my BSc from PCTE, Ludhiana. Currently, I am working with CIPLA as a medical representator. I like reading newspaper and watching television on a regular basis.
