First batch

NIIT University (NU) has announced its first batch of MBA programme in Business Analytics. The programme is being offered in partnership with WNS (Holdings) Limited a provider of global business process management (BPM) services.

This two-year work-integrated programme has been created with an innovative pedagogy and real-life business simulations to produce the finest business analytics professionals in the country.

About 51 students were selected for the first batch, after going through a stringent three-level selection process. The classes will be held at NU’s Neemrana Campus in Rajasthan.

Rajendra S Pawar, chairman NIIT group and founder, NIIT University said, "Today, analytics is all-pervasive as organisations are implementing it across key functions, be it customer service, human capital management, product development or pricing. We are faced with paucity of trained business analytics professionals and this unique MBA programme in Business Analytics professionals and this unique MBA programme in Business Analytics will fill that gap. With WNS as a partner, we are excited to welcome the first batch of this MBA programme at our campus."

Post training, the students will have to undergo internship at WNS. All students will receive a stipend of Rs 10,000 per month during their classwork at NU campus and Rs 50,000 per month while doing their internship at WNS.

Upon successful completion of the programme, students will join WNS at a mid-managerial position, with an industry-leading compensation package of Rs 15 lakh.

The programme will draw upon live case-studies and practitioner-experts from WNS to ensure the right blend of academic concepts and industry application.
