IIM Ahmedabad has retained the top rank in the NIRF Ranking 2022 again. Check out the full list of top Management institutes in India for 2022.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has topped the NIRF Rankings 2022 announced by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on July 14, 2022. IIM Ahmedabad managed to remain at the same spot as last year. IIM Bangalore is ranked No.2 followed by IIM Calcutta at No. 3, IIT Delhi at No. 4 and IIM Kozhikode at No. 5. IIM Calcutta retained its position from last year, IIM Lucknow has jumped one position and has been ranked sixth while IIM Indore is at sevent spot. XLRI Jamshedpur is at eighth spot, and NITIE Mumbai and IIT Madras ranked at number nine and ten in the NIRF Rankings 2022. 

In all, 10 IIMs have secured ranks in the top 20 MBA colleges in the country in the NIRF Rankings 2022. Other popular MBA institute that have been ranked include XLRI, SPJIMR, SIBM, GLIM, NMIMS, IIFT, IMI, XIMB, ICFAI, IRMA and KJSIMSR.

Universities that have been ranked by NIRF in top 75 for Management are Amrita Viswadiyapeetham, Jamia Milia Islamia, Amity University, BIMTECH, Banaras Hindu University, Panjab University, Aligarh Muslim University, Chandigarh University and Anna University. Six IITs have also secure ranks in top 20 for MBA/PGDM courses offered by their Department of Management Studies.

Known as the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), the rankings are announced by the Ministry of Education in eleven categories: Overall, Colleges, Universities, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Medical, Architecture, Dental, Research and Law

NIRF Ranking Parameters

Introduced in September 2015, the NIRF framework ranks institutions across the country on the basis of five parameters. Each parameter carries 100 points. The NIRF ranks participating institutions category-wise and overall score. Check the table below for details of the five parameters.
