There’s no specific eligibility criteria for NMAT by GMAC 2015. “It is the responsibility of the test taker to understand the eligibility requirements of all the universities and schools to which he/she is interested in applying before registering for NMAT exam,” states the official NMAT by GMAC website.

The important dates for NMAT by GMAC for the year 2015 were announced earlier today. The registrations for the exam have already begun from July 2, 2015. Interested candidates can apply for the exam latest by October 5, 2015.

Only eligible candidates can take the NMAT by GMAC to be held from October 6, 2015 till December 19, 2015.

The official website of NMAT has listed a few guidelines on eligibility for students before filling the application form. It is recommended that applicants should look for detailed eligibility criteria of individual university and school for the admission to MBA or other graduate management degree programme before applying.

However, there are some general eligibility criteria that every students needs to follow before filling up the application form of NMAT exam. Take a look at the following criteria for admissions:

1. It is mandatory for every student to have a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from any recognised university.
2. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% score in aggregate in their graduation.
3. Candidates with two or more years of work experience after graduation will be preferred for admission to all full-time programmes (according to Admission Information Handout of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS)).

4. Aspirants in their final year of graduation can also apply for the exam where they shall be offered provisional admission. The final admission will be granted only on clearing all graduation examination in first attempt with a minimum of 50% marks. The candidate should be able to produce all original documents within the specified time limit.

NMAT authorities shall take no responsibility for candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria of any particular college for their desired programme after filling up the application form. No application fee shall be refunded for the same.

The official website of NMAT by GMAC states in its eligibility section, “All test takers who complete the Test Registration process pay the test fee within the time specified and follow the published NMAT exam terms and conditions may sit for the NMAT exam. It is the responsibility of the test taker to understand the eligibility requirements of all the universities and schools to which he/she is interested in applying before registering for NMAT exam. If the test taker registers for the test and then determine that he/she is ineligible for admission to the desired program, no test fee refund will be made. For the eligibility requirements, test takers are advised to check the websites of each university and school where they plan to apply”.
