NMAT by GMAC syllabus will not change much this year. GMAC has announced that there are no changes in exam pattern and syllabus of the exam. The major changes observed are in the conduction and application procedure of the NMAT by GMAC 2015. The registration process of the exam has begun for admissions to MBA and other management programmes in colleges affiliated under NMAT for the academic session beginning from 2016.

The official website of NMAT by GMAC clearly states “the content will not change for the NMAT. The exam will be a multiple-choice question paper that includes Quantitative Ability, Language Skills and Logical Reasoning”.

The last date to register for the exam is October 5, 2015. While, the late registration for the exam will begin from October 6, 2015 and shall continue till October 19, 2015. Take a look at the important dates of NMAT 2015 exam here.

The registrations for the exam can be made online at the official website. In a new initiate by GMAC this year, candidates can also register through their mobile phones.
After registering for the exam, aspirants need to focus on three sections while preparing for the exam. The time limit allotted to students to complete the exam is 120 minutes.

The three sections of the exam are:

Candidates need to be thoroughly prepared for all the three sections including verbal ability, logical reasoning, data interpretation, analytic reasoning, quant and mathematics.

1. Language Skills

In this section, aspirants are tested on the basis of their verbal ability, English language skills and reading comprehensions. Questions in this section can be in any form i.e. not only test takers are asked to choose one from four options but they may also be asked to correct the statement. 2. Quantitative Skills

As the name suggests, this section tests the quantitative ability of aspirants. Candidates are to answer questions based on Mathematics Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency and Data Interpretation. Focus on tricks, formulae and shortcuts while preparing for this sections.

3. Logical Reasoning

This section checks the reasoning ability of candidates. Questions based on Analytical reasoning, logical reasoning, critical reasoning, complete the series, calendars, etc. comprise this section.
