NMAT by GMAC 2016 application process ends
Registrations for NMAT by GMAC, have ended today. Candidates who have still not applied can fill the form till October 12, 2016 with late fees. The scheduling of test centres and exam date will continue till Oct 12, 2016.
NMAT by GMAC 2016: Important dates
The exam is scheduled to be held between October and December this year, is a computer based aptitude test, conducted at 32 centres across 24 cities of India.
The aspirants can apply to multiple courses through one form, which will be accessible once they create their account on the official website.
For creating the account, the candidates need to follow the given steps.
- Click on “Register Now” in “Quick links” tab given on the home page of the official website.
- Enter a valid email ID.
- Click on ‘new user’. New user registration details will open, enter your first and last name and choose a password. Click on “Register and Sign In” button.
- The application form page will open. The candidate is required to fill all the fields given in the application form.
- An authentication email will be sent to the email ID provided. The candidates are required to validate their email ID, before proceeding further.
- The candidates will have to furnish authentic personal and educational details.
- They will also need to upload their photo.
- Next, they will have to select the schools they wish to send their scores under the "Programme Details" section.
- Up to 7 programmes are included in one application form.
- For each programme added in excess of 7 programmes, an additional fee of Rs 200 will be applied.
- The candidates must read the Terms and Conditions before clicking on the “I Agree” button to submit the form.
- Before submitting the form, candidates are advised to review the details entered carefully. Once the “Submit” button is clicked, no other changes can be made except “Update Programme Selection/ Retake” and “Update Candidate Preferences” sections.
- Click on the Submit button to complete your registration.
- The unique NMAT by GMAC Registration Number will be generated.
- Next, the candidates will be required to pay application fee.
- The payment can be done, through credit card/debit card/internet banking and Demand Draft.
- Click on the “Click here to make payment” link that appears along with the NMAT by GMAC Registration Number.
- After payment the registration will be complete and the candidates will receive an email with unique NMAT by GMAC Registration Number.
- The candidate will also receive an email with username and password to logon to www.pearsonvue.com/nmatbygmac and schedule test location, date and time.

Registration fee for the exam is Rs 1700. For retakes, the fee is Rs 1600 (additional) and for rescheduling, it is Rs 1000 additional).
NMAT by GMAC 2016: Syllabus and pattern
A candidate is eligible for a maximum of three retakes times during the year’s testing period. If a candidate is unable to appear for the exam on a given date, he/she can reschedule your exam latest by 72 hours prior to the original exam date by paying rescheduling fee.
