NMAT conducted by GMAC, is a common aptitude test held over three months for admission to various management schools including, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Alliance University, SRM University, BML Munjal University, VIT University, ICFAI Business School (IBS) and Ansal University.

Registration for NMAT 2016-17 will begin from July 4, 2016.

NMAT by GMAC 2016 important dates

Anybody who is graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum of 50% marks, is eligible for the exam. There's no age limit.

NMAT by GMAC 2016 syllabus and pattern

The result will be declared on the official website. The candidates will be informed about the result through email after which they can check their results on the official website. Each candidate's score will be shared with the B-Schools he/she had chosen at the time of registration to help them shortlist the candidates.

NMAT by GMAC also offers special arrangement for test takers with disabilities.

NMAT by GMAC 2016 application form and process

Disabilities for which accommodations can be provided:

  • Learning disability
  • Mobility impairment
  • Blindness (low vision to no vision)
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Leprosy
  • Others

Special arrangements that may be provided:

  • Extra time
  • Reader
  • Large fonts
  • Mobility assistance

A scribe to assist candidates with vision impairments. However, candidates must bring their own scribe.

 NMAT by GMAC admit card

The test is conducted in 30 centres at Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Bhilai, Bhopal, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata and Patna.

Every candidate will be allowed to take the exam a maximum of three times during the year. This includes the first attempt plus a maximum of two retake attempts.
