NMAT 2016

NMAT by GMAC, held between October to December, analyses the candidates on the basis of knowledge in Verbal Ability, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning.

NMAT 2016 important dates

The computer based test, is window to admissions to various management schools including, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Alliance University, SRM University, BML Munjal University, VIT University, ICFAI Business School (IBS) and Ansal University.

NMAT by GMAC 2016 application form and process

Held over a 75-day testing window, the exam allows aspirants to choose the date, venue and time slot of the exam as per their convenience.

The candidates are required to prepare Verbal Ability, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning for the exam.

They also need to be thoroughly prepared with logical and analytic reasoning, verbal ability, data interpretation and quant.

The question paper consists of 120 multiple choice objective type questions from the three sections. The time duration is 2 hours and there’s no negative marking.

NMAT preparation tips

Candidates are allowed two retakes (reattempts) of the exam. During admission, the best of three scores is considered.

NMAT by GMAC admit card

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written test. They will be then invited for Group Discussion, Personal Interview/Written Ability Test.

Admissions will be granted on the basis of performances in both written test and GD/PI/WAT.

Colleges accepting NMAT scores

NMAT was earlier conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. It was taken over by GMAC in 2015.
