Outlook magazine, in collaboration with ICARE India, releases all India ranking of top MBA institutes in India. According to Outlook MBA rankings 2020, IIM Bangalore is ranked number one with overall score of 91.77 out of 100. The institute scored highest in employability (98/100), followed by faculty quality (91/100) and inclusiveness and diversity (85.48/100). On rank 2, IIM Ahmedabad is rated highest on employability (97.48/100) followed by faculty quality (90.4/100). IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore and IIM Lucknow are ranked number 3, 4 and 5, respectively. In fact, eleven IIMs have been ranked from 1-11 as the top public MBA colleges in India.
The Outlook MBA ranking is based on several parameters such as Faculty-Student Ratio (FSR), Research Productivity and Quality, Faculty with PhD, Faculty Experience (Teaching/Corporate), Gender Diversity, Regional Diversity, Median Salary and Employability. Outlook uses data sourced from NIRF, AISHE, UGD, AICTE, NAAC, mandatory disclosure of institutions and institute websites to produce the all India rankings, annually.
