Pre-interview test/ personal interview for TISSNET 2016 begins

TISSNET 2016 is a National Entrance Test (NET) exam that is conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). The exam was held on January 9, 2016, and the results were declared on February 2, 2016.

The dates for TISSNET counselling are out. Candidates who clear the TISSNET 2016 exam will be further called for Pre-Interview Test and Personal Interview. The names of selected candidates will be then available on the official website.

The Pre-interview test and personal interview has commenced today, i.e. March 10, 2016 at TISS Mumbai for programmes offered at Mumbai, Tuljapur Campuses, MHAT, BANYAN and G-SET Ranchi, and will continue till March 19, 2016.

Important details

• Candidates appearing for Pre-Interview Test (PIT)/ or Personal Interview (PI) will be chosen on the basis of the online test merit list. The cut-off marks for the same will be decided and declared later by the institute.
• Candidates shortlisted by the institute will receive call letters for PIT/PI. Candidates will have to give a test during the Pre-Interview test round.
• Candidates appearing for PIT and PI will have to carry the downloaded Detailed Application Form. This form will be available on the official website from third week of February 2016.
• Candidates must ensure that they are well-versed with the programme for which they are applying. Questions related to the same might be asked during PI.
• PIT and PI will be scheduled in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Guwahati. Candidates selected for programmes offered at Mumbai and Tuljapur campuses will have to visit Mumbai Campus for the PIT/PI.
• Candidates selected for programmes offered at Hyderabad & Guwahati will have go to Hyderabad and Guwahati campuses respectively for PIT/PI.
