Shiksha College Reviews: Top 10 B-Schools based on students & alumni ratings

Selecting a college is one of the most important aspect of a student’s life. Apart from looking at B-School rankings, fees and ROI, placements and various other factors, candidates need authentic first-hand information about the shortlisted colleges.

Authentic information about a college can come from two primary sources –

• The college
• College participants

One can get all desired information from the college website, but there’s no way to validate the authenticity of the published info.

This is where the second source, i.e., the participants of the college, come into the picture. Not only can they validate the claims made by the college, they can further provide relevant information useful for MBA aspirants.

Keeping in mind all the above, Shiksha.com has recently launched College Reviews for various MBA colleges. With the help of this authentic review feature, we hope to guide millions of student take informed decisions.

In this feature, current students (except first year candidates) and alumni can review their MBA colleges on certain parameters, based on their experiences. The reviewer can rate the college on the following five parameters:

• Worth the Money
• Crowd and Campus Life
• Average Salary and Placements
• Campus Facilities
• Faculty

There are more than 2500 college reviews on Shiksha.com right now. We decided to pull out which are the 10 colleges with best ratings from current students and alumni. To ensure fair process, we selected colleges with a minimum of five reviews.

Please note, many top colleges that you expect to see (such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, SP Jain and so on) is not a part of the list. This is so because either they have less than five reviews or lower ratings currently on Shiksha.com. For instance, IIM Ahmedabad has the best rating (5 stars) but has just two reviews (minimum five reviews required), therefore, doesn't make it to the list.
