TANCET-MBA 2016 application process begins

Aspirants willing to register for TANCET-MBA 2016 can do so from today, i.e. May 2, 2016.

The forms can be downloaded from the official website of Anna University. The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is conducted every year by Anna University, Chennai admissions in various colleges of Tamil Nadu in MBA, MCA, ME, M Tech, M Arch and M Plan courses.

This year, the exam will be held on June 11, 2016 from 2.30pm to 4.30 pm. Aspirants are expected to apply submit their application form by the May 21, 2016. Registration fee for the common entrance test is Rs 500 for General Category candidates and Rs 250 for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu.

It may be noted that the candidates can apply for the test through online registration only.

Know the steps to fill the online application form:

• Go to TANCET’s official website and create a login by entering your email ID and password.
• Once your login is created, log in and fill the form by entering the enter the following details:

1. Name
2. Date of Birth
3. Address
4. Exam Centre
5. Nationality
6. Gender
7. Community
8. Nativity
9. Class X: Year of passing
10. Class X: Registration number
11. Particulars of demand draft

• You will also be required to upload a recent photograph of yours not exceeding 500 KB.

 TANCET-MBA 2016 admit card

Once the form is submitted, candidates are required to take a print-out of the same and send it to Anna University along with the following documents:

• Copy of class X or equivalent mark sheet
• Copy of class XII marksheet or 3 years Diploma Certificate
• Demand Draft for registration fee
• Self-attested copy of the permanent community certificate issued by Government of Tamil Nadu for availing fee concession.

The admit cards can be downloaded from the official website when announced. TANCET-MBA is a 2-hour long exam consisting of 100 multiple choice objective type questions.
