TANCET-MBA 2016 eligibility and test centres

TANCET is conducted by Anna University, Chennai for the students specifically belonging to the state of Tamil Nadu in various courses including MBA, MCA, ME, M Plan, M Tech and M Arch.

TANCET-MBA 2016 application process begins

The eligibility criteria to appear for the entrance test are as follows:

• The candidate should be a resident of Tamil Nadu.
• The candidate should hold a 3-year-duration Graduation degree obtaining 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) by following 10+2+3 format.
• Candidates from science background can apply for TANCET MBA, if they hold a B.Tech/BE/B Arch or B Pharma degree.
• Students having Masters degree in Arts or science, B. Pharmacy/B.sc degree in Forestry/Horticulture/Computer Science/Fishery are also eligible to apply.
• The candidate should not be above 25 years of age before or in the year of examination.
• Foreign or NRI candidates are not eligible for application.

It should be noted that the above information is as per the criteria released by the university last year. New notification for 2016, if any, is awaited.

TANCET-MBA 2016 eligibility and test centres

TANCET MBA 2016 is scheduled to be held on June 11, 2016. Online registration for the same will start from May 2, 2016.

The last date of registration is May 21, 2016 and the results of the exam are expected to be announced after a month of the written test.

TANCET-MBA 2016 admit card

After the written test, a set of students will be shortlisted for counselling, the dates for which will be announced later. Admissions will be granted to the candidates on the basis of combined scores of the written test and counselling.
