Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducted the TISSNET 2022 exam. Candidates appeared for the exam can check the exam analysis and expected cutoff. TISSNET 2022 exam as expected was held in moderate lines.

TISSNET 2022 Exam Analysis
TISSNET 2022 exam was conducted in Computer Based Mode from 2 pm to 3.40 pm on February 26, 2022. The exam pattern of TISSNET 2022 was similar to that of the previous year. TISSNET exam is a national level entrance examination that is conducted for admission to the Tata Institute campus and affiliated colleges. On the basis of the examination, candidates are offered admission to TISS, Mumbai's flagship programme- MA in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations. As per the previous year's analysis, the paper was moderately difficult and the GK section continued to be difficult. TISSNET 2022 Exam Analysis

TISSNET 2022 exam was similar to that of the previous year. The question paper consisted of three sections: General Awareness (40 Questions), English Proficiency (30 Questions), and Mathematics & Logical Reasoning (30 Questions). The General Knowledge section continued to be the tricky section. However, there was a great balance between Static GK and Current Affairs. The questions from Current Affairs were easy and decent knowledge of everyday happening was enough to guess the answer correctly. The English Proficiency section was easy to moderate which included 9 questions based on Prepositions and Vocabulary. The Mathematics and Logical Reasoning section were very easy and the most scoring section. Therefore the overall paper was easy to moderate and was on similar lines that of the previous year. The cut-off for open category students is expected to be about 65 marks.

TISSNET 2022 Exam Analysis: Section Wise

General Awareness

This was the toughest section of the exam. There was a total of 15 questions from Current Affairs, among which 10-12 could have been attempted easily. Questions in static GK covered topics from History, Culture, Geography, Science, awards, Economy and Business and so forth. The attempt of 20-30 questions is good enough to score 25 marks

This section had a total of 30 questions among which 22 were from Quant, 2 from Reasoning and 6 from Data Interpretation. The section was sitter and candidates could have attempted most of the questions with ease. The good score for this section is 25-26 marks

This section included 30 questions. The questions from Fill in Blanks dominated the section. There were no questions on one-word, analogy, idioms, and substitutions. The good score for this section is 20-22 marks

Previous Year: TISSNET 2021 Exam Analysis

As per the previous year's analysis, the question paper consisted of three sections: General Awareness (40 Questions), English Proficiency (30 Questions), and Mathematics & Logical Reasoning (30 Questions) as prescribed in the exam pattern. For every correct answer candidates were given 1 mark and there was no negative marking for any unattempted question or incorrect answers. GK section continued to be a difficult section in comparison to other sections. The English Proficiency section was moderately difficult with 4 questions on Spotting the Error and 3 questions each on Prepositions and Vocabulary. The Mathematics and Logical Reasoning section was the scoring section barring a few questions from Statistics and Probability. previous year the cutoff for the general category was 73.83.
