Normalization of marks implies an increase or decrease of marks obtained by students in different timing sessions to a certain number. This is done mainly to bring the candidates across all sessions on a comparable scale. In other words, the aim of TS ICET Normalization Process is to ensure that no student gets advantage/disadvantage because he/she has appeared either in the easy session or in hard session of the exam. It is important to note that, the normalization of marks justifies the candidates score while respecting their actual performance.

Q: What is the mode for TS ICET registration?
Kakatiya University releases the TS ICET application form in an online mode. Candidates who wish to apply for the TS ICET exam need to apply online. No other mode is available for the TS ICET registration. Kakatiya University will not entertain any requests for offline submission of the application form. After submitting the online application form, candidates must print a filled-in copy of TS ICET application form to retain the same for future references. However, this print-out must not be sent to the official authority via fax or post. TS ICET form print out is for retainment by the applicant.
Q: What is the last date to apply for TS ICET 2024?
TSCHE has not released the TS ICET 2024 dates. However, here is the registration commencement and registration deadline for TS ICET 2024, based on the previous trends.
Candidates are expected to access the TSICET 2024 registration window until the third week of May along with a late fee amount. Kakatiya University is to release the TSICET 2024 notification in the last week of February and the registration will be commenced in the first week of March. The last date to fill the TSICET application form, without any late fee, will be set anywhere in the first week of May. Candidates applying after the regular deadline will have to pay a late fee amount along with the TS ICET application fee.
Students need to note if there is no qualifying cut-off in TS ICET for them, then in that case, if their marks in TS ICET after normalization goes below zero, it will be treated as zero. In case there is a tie, in such a situation, TS ICET normalization marks, even if it is negative, will be taken care of to resolve the tie. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) holds the responsibility to assign a conducting body for the TS ICET exam. Kakatiya University conducts the TS ICET exam on behalf of TSCHE. All exam related events, including the registration, admit card release, answer key publication, and result declaration is done by Kakatiya University, on behalf of the exam convener, TSCHE.
