About five years ago, FMCG and BFSI ruled the placement processes in top Business Schools. However, with changing times, recruiting patterns are also changing.

How much has the recruiting scene changed in the last few years?

Well, for starters, Indian e-commerce market is changing everything. It has emerged as the hottest sector, beating yesterday’s favourite Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. According to Nielsen Campus Track Business School survey 2015, E-commerce has emerged at the top with 28% students opting for this sector. This was followed by FMCG with 24% MBA students expressing interest in the sector. View source
