What is the salary package offered to IIM Ahmedabad MBA grads? IPRS 2015 report says it all

IIM Ahmedabad has released the audited final placement reports 2015 for the PGP programme. These reports are a part of the Indian Placement Reporting Standards – a process followed by IIM A to ensure transparency.

According to the published information, the highest salary offered to Post Graduate Programme (PGP) student is Rs 53 lakhs. The median salary stands at Rs 19.7 lakhs while the mean is Rs 20.47 lakhs. The lowest salary offered this year is Rs 11.5 lakhs. All these figures are based on Maximum Earning Potential Component (Domestic Salary Heads).

“As per the norms of the IPRS, these reports have been audited by CRISIL Ratings, an independent third party auditor,” informed the institute.

More than 115 firms made offers to 361 students, including 131 Pre-Placement Offers (PPO) through internships. Fifteen (15) students opted out of placements for entrepreneurship. The highest number of offers, 97, were made by consulting sector.
