XLRI admissions for VIL courses in Management
Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) has invited applications for admission to its Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) Programmes. Currently, the institute has opened online application for the next intake for VIL courses in Business Management (BM) and Human Resource Management (HRM). Last date to apply is September 22, 2013.
The programs are offered in technical association with Hughes Communication India Ltd and Reliance World (HCIL and RW). There are 150 classroom centres across the country. VIL programmes are also accessible to international students in Nigeria.
The VIL offers a portfolio of compact programs over 12-months duration across different functional areas of management. Besides, BM and HRM, some other courses offered are: Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Retail Management and Sales and Marketing Management. The course roughly entails 300 hrs of virtual classroom sessions including five days of compulsory campus classes for teaching, evaluation etc, informed the institute. In a year, the VIL programmes have two rounds of applications for each of its five certificate courses.

The VIL programs enable working executives to undertake formal management learning in the city they reside and work, at a convenient time schedule without disrupting their professional commitments to enhance their management-centric knowledge, skills & competencies, stated an institute release.
“XLRI’s VIL Programme aims to provide worthwhile management education to the present day professionals and executives, who are willing to complete their management education whilst still being in service or while being involved with their own business,” informed Professor Ashish Pani, Associate Dean, Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) Programmes, XLRI.
