AYUSH NEET Counselling Process
AYUSH NEET counselling for round two will be conducted if any seats are left vacant from the first round and will be conducted only after the first round is concluded successfully. Below is the procedure for Round two AYUSH NEET Counselling:
Step 1: Registration: Candidates have to register themselves by filling the application form with personal and academic details, including the rank and marks secured in NEET 2020.
Step 2: After registering, the candidates have to fill their choices in a Preference Form. They have to fill the course-college options they are interested to apply for. There is no limit on the number of choices a candidate can fill in the preference form. Also, candidates should check the fee structure of the college and the curriculum of the course they wish to apply for.
Step 3: Seat allotment and joining: This step is crucial and is different as observed in first round. AACCC will prepare the seat allotment list for various courses based on the choices filled by the candidates and their ranks in NEET 2020. Shortlisted candidates will again have to choose whether they want to continue with the seat allotted to them or not. If the candidate has been allotted a seat, then two options are left for the candidate.
The first is that the candidate can exit forfeiture of security fees within two days of publishing of round two result. The other is to report to the allotted institute and complete the admission formalities. However, candidates joined in the second round of All India Quota Counselling will not be allowed to resign or leave.
And the second is if the seat is not allotted, the process will be considered as concluded.
Seats Left Vacant After the Second Round of AYUSH Counselling
Government/Government-aided seats left vacant after the second round will be transferred to the respective states. They will become a part of the seat matrix for the counselling of the respective state.
Private/National/Deemed seats will be filled by conducting a mop-up round. Fresh registrations will be accepted for this round. If any seats are left vacant after the mop-up round, these will be transferred to the respective institute for a stray round of counselling.
