BLDE University will be conducting its All India Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) on January 27, 2013.

BLDEU PGET 2013 will be held for admission to MD course in Radiology, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Anaesthesiology, Comm. Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy; M S course in General Surgery, Obst. & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, E.N.T and Diploma course in DGO, D’Ortho, DLO, DCH, DA, DCP.

Eligibility

Applicants must satisfy the following relevant eligibility criteria:

  • The candidates should have passed MBBS from a college recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI).
  • As specified by Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to post-graduate courses shall be:
    1. General category 50 per cent
    2. SC/ ST& OBC (OBC as declared by Government of Karnataka from time to time) Category 40 per cent
    3. Candidates with 40 to 70% locomotor disability of lower limbs (as certified by competent issuing authority) category 45 per cent.
  • The candidate should have completed the compulsory rotating internship / would be completing by April 30, 2013.
  • Foreign / PIO / NRI students are exempted from BLDEU-PGET-2013. Their admission will be based on qualifying examination marks.

For your information, online registration process is still going on for NEET-PG the all India level postgraduate medical entrance test. The NEET-PG 2012 scheduled from November 23 to December 6, 2012, aims at scrapping other state level & university conducted medical entrance tests. However, COMED-K has also announced its own PGET which is likely to be conducted on February 3, 2013.
