COVID-19: UP NEET PG Counselling 2020 postponed
The admission process to the postgraduate medical and dental courses in Uttar Pradesh has been postponed by DMER in view of the COVID-19 spread in India. Revised dates for UP NEET PG 2020 counselling will be released soon.
UP NEET PG counselling 2020 registrations were to begin from March 23. However, in view of the novel coronavirus outbreak in India and the lockdowns implemented by the Ministry of Health, the counselling of UP NEET PG 2020 has been postponed until further notice. The official information brochure for UP PG medical counselling has been uploaded on the official website of Director General, Medical Education and Training, Lucknow, UP. Candidates must note that to apply for the counselling process one must have cleared NEET PG 2020. The process of registration for UP NEET PG counselling 2020 has been given below.
What is the selection process for UP PG Medical Counselling 2020?
- Candidates who have cleared NEET PG 2020 or NEET MDS 2020 and are domiciled in the state of Uttar Pradesh can apply for the 50% state quota seats through UP PG medical counselling 2020.
- DMER will then release a state merit list that will include the names of all the eligible candidates who have registered for the first round of UP NEET PG counselling.
- These candidates will have to submit the choices (specialty/colleges) by logging into their registered accounts.
- Basis the choices filled by the candidate, a seat allotment list will be prepared by the DMER and will be displayed on its official website.
- Selected candidates will have to report to the allocated institute for confirmation of their admission.
