NEET 2021 counselling dates have been finally announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). A long delay had made the candidates anxious since the NEET 2021 result was declared on November 1. This year, there will be four rounds of counselling, which means that there will be an additional round of counselling - Online Stray Vacancy Round. The Round 1 of the NEET UG 2021 counselling has been concluded. Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to report to the institutes by February 9. The Round 2 registration process will commence on February 16. MCC has also revised the schedule of the NEET UG 2021 counselling.

At first, the provisional result of NEET 2021 Round 1 counselling was released on January 27 but was revoked due to the Madras High Court hearing of a case. This led to the reopening of the Round 1 registration window from January 28 to January 30. After that, the Round 1 result was declared on February 1, which was again revoked due to an error in the BDS seat matrix of IMS, BHU. The final and revised seat allocation result of Round 1 was declared on February 2.
