Two separate merit lists have been released for BAMS, BUMS and BHMS and BOTH, BOTH, BASLP and B (P&O) courses. As many as 49,320 candidates have been enlisted in the BAMS, BUMS and BHMS merit list, and 53,866 candidates have been included under the BOTH, BOTH, BASLP and B (P&O) merit list.

Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023 Process
The Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023 process is completely online, except for the institute reporting or the document verification rounds. The steps are given below:

Registration: The first step is to register for the Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2023. Candidates must ensure that they are eligible for the state counselling process. The registration process is completely online and only those candidates submitting the registration form with the necessary documents and payment of fees will be considered for the generation of the CET CELL NEET UG 2023 merit list. Candidates will have to upload all the requisite original scanned documents. The uploaded documents will be verified online before releasing the provisional merit list of Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2023.

Publication of Seat Matrix and Merit List: After the conclusion of the registration process, CET CELL Maharashtra will release the seat matrix or the list of vacant seats and the merit list or rank list.

Filling of Preference Form or Choice Filling: The preference form or choice filling has to be done within the stipulated date. The course and colleges have to be opted based on the seat matrix provided by CET CELL Maharashtra.

Declaration of CAP Round Selection List: After this, the round-wise selection list will be released wherein candidates will be allotted seats at an institute preferred or opted for by them during the preference form filling round.

Institute Reporting or Joining: In the final step, candidates who have been allotted a seat will have to report to the institute for document verification and other admission formalities. In order to take admission, they will have to pay the requisite fees through Demand Draft or cheque.
Along with releasing the NEET UG Maharashtra State Merit List 2023, the counselling authority has stated, “The Provisional Merit List is based on the information provided by the candidate in the registration form. The admission will take place only after the verification of original certificates at the admitting College. The benefit of reservation will only be available upon production and successful verification of the requisite documents.”
As of now, CET CELL Maharashtra has released the schedule for Round 1 counselling of MBBS/BDS and the other medical and allied courses such as BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc. The schedule and other details for the subsequent rounds of Maharashtra NEET counselling 2023 will be released gradually.
