With uncertainty over the NEET 2021 syllabus and with less time left for the preparation of the exam, the medical aspirants are facing unnecessary hassle and anxiety. 

Lakhs of students appear for the National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test (NEET) every year to get admission to medical seats in Undergraduate courses offered in the country. This year, the NEET 2021 exam is expected to be held in June, considering that the CBSE Board Exams 2021, will be conducted in May rather than March. However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) or the concerned authorities have not yet confirmed the exam date. With no clarity on the syllabus reduction, teachers and students are repeatedly raising queries regarding the same on Twitter.

With syllabus cut and some relaxations announced for the Central Board of Secondary Educationโ€™s (CBSE) board exam and JEE Advanced 2021 respectively, medical aspirants are asking Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal โ€˜Nishankโ€™ or NTA to give clarity on NEET 2021 syllabus reduction. With uncertainty over the NEET 2021 syllabus and with less time left for the preparation of the exam, the medical aspirants are facing unnecessary hassle and anxiety. 
National Testing Agency (NTA) has not released or made any official announcement regarding the syllabus of NEET 2021. For now, aspirants have been requested to avoid any fake rumors or news related to the NEET syllabus reduction. However, the possibility of a reduction in the NEET Syllabus given the current situation created due to COVID-19 is high and NTA NEET syllabus is expected to be made available soon. With the timely announcement of NEET 2021 dates, all the MBBS candidates will be able to get time for NEET 2021 preparation.

Medical aspirants have flooded Twitter with their questions and queries related to NEET 2021 syllabus reduction. A medical aspirant of the NEET 2021 session has requested the education minister to direct NTA to announce the revised NEET 2021 syllabus and the NEET 2021 dates as early as possible.

Another medical aspirant requested the education minister to declare the NEET exam date as they are in tension and with an early announcement of both syllabus and date, the students will be able to prepare with a free mind. 

As of now, NTA will be conducting NEET 2021 in offline mode, admission will be granted to 80,055 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 50,720 AYUSH, and 525 veterinary seats. The exact dates of NEET 2021 are yet to be announced.
