NEET SS 2020: MCC releases list of essential documents, certificates to be checked by institutes during reporting
The notification has been released by the MCC after it received several mails from colleges seeking direction regarding the admission process; in case the candidates report without original certificates.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a notification mentioning the list of important certificates and esstinal documents compulsory to be checked by the medical colleges during reporting by NEET SS Counselling 2020 candidates.NEET SS 2020 result was announced on September 25.
The notification has been released by the MCC after it received several mails from colleges seeking direction regarding the admission process; in case the candidates report without original certificates.
In the notification, MCC has stated that the colleges need to check the following documents mentioned below. In case any allotted candidate, fails to provide the below required essential documents, the seat of the candidate will be deamed to be cancelled.
NEET SS 2020: Essential Documents Required
All the colleges that are participating in the NEET SS Counselling 2020 are requested to make sure that the candidates do submit these documents while reporting. Check the list of documents here:
- Provisional Allotment Letter issued by MCC
- Result/Rank letter issued by NBE
- MD/MS.DNB Degree Certificate in the concerned specialty
- Higher School/ Higher Secondary Certificate/ Birth Certificates as proof of date of birth
- Candidates who have been allotted seats must ensure that they carry one of the identification proofs (ID Proof) to the allotted college at the time of admission for NEET SS 2020
NEET SS 2020: Desirable documents
- Admit Card issued by NBE
- MBBS Degree Ceritificate/ Provisional Certificate
- Permanent Registration Certificate of MBBS/MS/DNB issued by MCI or NBE/State Medical Council
The Notice further state that the NEET SS Counselling Round 1 and Round 2 reporting has to be done ‘Physical’. However, in case of extremely exceptional cases, where the candidate's reason is found to be genuine, the decision can be taken by the college authorities after approval from MCC, to allow candidate for online verification of required documents online or not.
