NEET SS Counselling 2020: MCC releases notice on reporting & essential documents
According to the official notice, counselling committee also specified the essential documents that would be mandatory to be checked by the medical institutions at the time of reporting.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) in its latest notification informed the candidates waiting for DM, MCh, DNB SS admissions regarding the reporting of NEET SS counselling. According to the official notice, counselling committee also specified the essential documents that would be mandatory to be checked by the medical institutions at the time of reporting. The institutions that are all set for conducting the NEET SS counselling 2020 must take note of the important points laid down by the committee. Various colleges sent mails to MCC seeking direction regarding the NEET SS admission process to proceed with if the candidates turn up for reporting without original certificates. In this regard, the counselling committee stated certain documents that are essential to check.
NEET SS Counselling 2020: Essential document for reporting
Candidates appearing for the reporting must not forget to take the following document:
- Provisional Allotment Letter issued by MCC
- Result/Rank Letter issued by NBE
- MD/MS/DNB Degree Certificate in the concerned Specialty.
- High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth.
- Candidates allotted seat must carry one of the identification proofs (ID Proof) to the allotted college at the time of admission (as mentioned in the information Bulletin published by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for NEET SS 2020 i.e. PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhar Card).
The notice further reads, “By default, the reporting for Round-1 & Round-2 has to be ‘PHYSICAL’. However, only in extremely exceptional cases where the reason of the candidate is found to be genuine, decision can be taken by the college authorities after approval from MCC, to allow the candidate for Online Reporting after verification of required documents online. However, the onus of seats remaining vacant/ seat blocking in case online reported candidates do not join physically will be on concerned college. Therefore, colleges are advised to ensure that only genuine candidates be allowed for online reporting.”
