To facilitate the Indian student community in the Middle East, the Ministry of Education has decided that the exam will be conducted in Kuwait also this year. This is the first time when this medical entrance exam is being conducted in Dubai.

Officials on Thursday confirmed that the decision is taken to add a centre in Dubai for NEET.

In his letter to Foreign Secretary, Ministry for External Affairs, HRD Secretary Amit Khare said, "The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to create one more centre city in Dubai in addition to the one already created at Kuwait city during the year 2021."

"The Indian community in the Gulf countries may appropriately be informed about this. I would also be grateful if the Indian embassies in Kuwait and Dubai are advised to extend their full cooperation to the NTA in conduct of the exam in fair and secured manner," he added.

NEET will be held on September 12, in the languages, Punjabi, Malyalam, Hindi, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Kannada, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, and English. The number of cities in which the exam will be conducted to increase from 155 to 198 this year.
