For the year 2016, the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) released the list of best Pharmacy colleges in India ranked by the National Bureau of Accreditation (NBA). The India Ranking is based primarily on 5 parameters - Teaching and Learning Resources(TLR), Graduation Outcome(GO), Perception(PR), Outreach and Inclusivity(OI) and Research and Professional Practice(RP).

Each of these parameters have been assigned overall weightage of 100 marks. They are further divided into various sub-heads including placement metric, student-teacher ratio, peer perception, competitiveness etc.

Ranking Methodology

Graduation Outcome (GO): 100 marks

Ranking Weight: 0.20

Overall Assessment Metric: GO = GPHE(40) + GUE(15) + GMS(20) + GTOP(15) + GPHD(10)
