4 MTech courses at GNITS get NBA accreditation

The last date to apply for MTech Category-B admissions at G Narayanama Institute of Technology and Science is October 18, 2022. 

G Narayanama Institute of Technology and Science (for women) has announced that four MTech courses, digital electronics and communication engineering (ECE), power electronics and electric drives (EEE), computer networks and information security (IT) and computer science and engineering (CSE), have been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for three-years, i.e. from 2022 -2025.  

Chairman of GNITS P Subba Reddy congratulated K Ramesh Reddy, Principal, and Heads of the departments for achieving the accreditation and also becoming part of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking on the occasion of silver jubilee of GNITS. Reddy said this year’s placements for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes were outstanding. Students received go pay packages in top-tier multinational companies (MNCs).  

International conference on intelligent computing and communication  

The institute is conducting the sixth International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Communication (ICICC)-2022 in November. GNITS is located in Hyderabad and was founded 1997 by late G Pulla Reddy Guru with an aim to promote engineering education among women. GNITS is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). 

The last date to apply for BTech first-year admission under category B was October 13, whereas for MTech Category-B admissions, students can apply latest by October 18. GNITS offers 13 courses across two streams which includes eight undergraduate courses and five postgraduate courses.

The undergraduate courses include all BTech courses whereas post-graduation courses include all the MTech courses. The duration of BTech courses are four years and the same for MTech courses are two years. Apart from all these, they also offer lateral entry across all specialisation for diploma students who want to get admission into BTech.
