CA Final Exam MCQ Paper Reportedly Circulates on Social Media Before Exam Ends

During the ongoing CA Final Exam, a significant breach of integrity has been reported as the multiple-choice question (MCQ) paper for the Financial Reporting (FR) exam began circulating on social media channels before the official end of the exam.

CA Lalit Solanki raised concerns on X platform, pointing out that the MCQ paper surfaced on social media platforms at 4:26 PM, while the exam officially concluded at 5 PM. He emphasized the severity of the situation, noting that the MCQ booklet is strictly prohibited from being taken outside the exam hall.

In his statement, CA Lalit Solanki urged the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to conduct a swift and impartial inquiry into this matter. He also highlighted additional evidence, including images and mentions of a "FR 24 Pages MCQ Pdf," which surfaced shortly after the exam.

Other users echoed these concerns, with one user noting the possibility of mobile devices being allowed inside the exam hall, potentially facilitating the unauthorized dissemination of exam materials. Additionally, CA Himank Singla highlighted other issues faced by students during the exam, including last-minute changes in exam centers and missing options on OMR sheets.

The gravity of the situation has prompted widespread calls for ICAI to take appropriate action to address the breach and uphold the integrity of the CA examination process. With the CA May 2024 Exam currently underway, this incident underscores the importance of maintaining strict security measures to preserve the integrity of professional examinations.

In response to these developments, 𝐂𝐀 𝐀𝐊 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐥 expressed disappointment, stating, "Students have actually created a joke of CA exams. Appropriate action should be taken."

CA Exam Begins

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) commenced the CA May 2024 Exam on May 2, with CA Final Group 1 and CA Inter Group 1 exams already underway. Candidates are urged to adhere to exam timings and guidelines while ICAI addresses the reported breaches.
