COVID-19 Impact: ICMAI extends application last date, Exempts candidates from Trainings for June 2020 exams

Amid Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown in India, ICAI has decided to extend the last date of application for all courses as well as, exempted the candidates from all types of training for Intermediate and Final courses. Read to know more. 

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) has extended the last date of application ICWAI June 2020 examinations. The candidates applying for ICWAI courses including, Foundation, Intermediate and Final courses, can now fill and submit the application form until April 20, 2020. Earlier, the application window for ICWAI June 2020 examinations was to be closed on April 10. However, it has been extended due to the Coronavirus outbreak in India as per the latest notification published on April 1, 2020.

Candidates can now apply for ICWAI June 2020 examination in online mode on or before April 20 without any late fee. The examinations for all courses of ICWAI will be held from June 11 to 18, 2020 in a pen-paper based test mode. Candidates appearing for the ICWAI June 2020 examination have to apply before the last date with the application fee as under:

In another notification released by ICAI on the same day, it has stated that candidates appearing for June 2020 examination of Intermediate and Final courses are exempted from all types of training. The decision has also been taken under careful monitoring of COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown period. Therefore, the candidates of Intermediate and Final courses of ICWAI need not appear for Computer training, CSS training, IOTP or any kind of practicals. They are eligible to appear for ICWAI June 2020 term examination without it.
