CA Foundation and CA Intermediate exam dates for January 2025 session have been announced. The ICAI has today, released the date sheet for the exams at its official website. CA exam registration for Intermediate and CA Final will begin from November 10, 2024. Candidates of Foundation and Intermediate Examinations will be allowed to opt for English / Hindi medium for answering papers.

CA Foundation and CA Intermediate examination forms will be available at the https://eservices.icai.org (Self Service Portal - SSP). Students will have to fill the CA exam application form 2025 and pay the fee by November 23, 2024 without late fee and by November 26, 2024 with late fee.

Candidates can fill the ICAI CA exam form by using their credentials (Username <SRN@icai.org>and password). New students will be required to create a user ID.

CA Foundation and CA Intermediate exam timings

There is no change in the exam timings of CA Foundation and CA Inter exams. CA Foundation Paper 1 and 2 will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm whereas Paper 3 and 4 will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. CA Inter exam will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 5:00 for all papers.

Q:   What is the fees for CA Final exam?

A:

The fees for CA Final course (New and Old Schemes) is INR 1,800 for single group and INR 3,300 for both groups. Candidates have to pay the fee at the time of online form submission. Candidates must submit the fee and application form before the deadline otherwise they will have to pay an additional amount of INR 600 as late fee. The fee is non-refundable. The fee payment is to be done through credit card, debit card or net banking. Unless the fee is paid, the course or exam application form will not be submitted. Candidate will receive acknowledgement in mail upon successful transaction.

Q:   How can I choose my test city for CA exam?

A:

The option to select test city for CA exam is given in the application form. The ICAI CA exam is held in over 180 cities across India. Candidates can select up to 3 cities as their preferred location. They have to select the city/cities of their choice in the form in order of 1-3. The test centre will be allotted to candidates as per their first preference and availability of seat. If the seat is already filled in the test centre of the city of first preference, the candidate will be allotted a test centre in the second city of preference.

Q:   What are the documents/items to carry at CA exam centre?

A:

CA candidates need to carry two copies of CA admit card (A4 size paper/colour printout), one photo ID (original), blue or black ballpoint pen and calculator to the examination centre. Candidates can carry Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, passport or driving license as the mandatory document for identification. They are also required to carry passport size photos to affix on the CA admit card. Entry without these documents will not be allowed.

Digital copy of the admit card or photo ID will not be accepted as valid at the examination centres, thus candidates must take print outs of their admit card as soon as they download it.
