ICSI CS Executive syllabus switchover from old syllabus (2017) to new syllabus (2022) window has been activated now. Candidates already registered for the CS Executive programme can apply for the switchover. The first examination date under new syllabus (2022) has been announced. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has activated the link to switchover from the old syllabus (under 2017) to the new syllabus (under 2022) for ICSI CS Executive candidates. Candidates desiring to switchover from old syllabus to new syllabus are advised to go through the new syllabus before commencing with the preparations.

Candidates can apply for the switch over under ICSI CS Executive new syllabus (2022) from today. The first examination under the new syllabus will be held in December 2023. The reverse switchover will not be permitted. Candidates applying for switchover to new syllabus will have to compulsorily appear for a Pre-Examination Test to become eligible, for enrolling in the main examinations.

The corresponding paper-wise exemptions applicable to Old Syllabus (under 2017) Students Switching over to New Syllabus (under 2022) is as under:

How to Switchover from ICSI CS Executive Old Syllabus (2017) to New Syllabus (2022)?

Step 1- Visit the link provided- icsi.edu

Step 2- Now click on the ‘online services’ tab

Step 3- Now click on “New Foundation Student Login/Executive Student Login and enter the login credentials

Step 4- Now click on Module>Switch over>Apply for switchover

Step 5- Student request screen will appear

Step 6- Enter the details prescribed

Step 7- Confirm the details entered

Important Note for switchover:

  • Students will not be required to pay any charges for switchover to the new syllabus under 2022.
  • Study material for 2022 new syllabus has to be purchased by the students from the centre.
  • Candidates have to appear for the pre-examination test to become eligible to appear for new syllabus under 2022.
  • Students switching over from Old Syllabus 2017 to the Executive Programme New Syllabus 2022 should use the provided link to pay the fee of INR 1000.- click here
