ICSI CS June 2020: Cut-off date for pre-examination test relaxed

The Institute of Companies Secretaries of India (ICSI) has further extended the cut-off date for the pre-examination test and one-day orientation programme till August 31, 2020.

In wake of prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, the Institute of Companies Secretaries of India (ICSI) has further extended the cut-off date for the pre-examination test and one-day orientation programme till August 31, 2020. This is a one time relaxation and will be applicable for candidates appearing in CS June 2020 exam.

The official notice reads, β€œIn view of the difficulties faced by the students due to Coronavirus outbreak, the ICSI had decided to temporarily relax and conditions pertaining to pre-examination test and one-day orientation programme and the students were allowed to comply with the said requirement (both conditions) latest by 5 pm on May 31, 2020,”

ICSI CS exam 2020 for Foundation Programme will be conducted on July 11 and 12. The exam for Professional and  Executive programmes will be conducted on July 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15.

On the other hand, CSEET 2020 registrations will close on June 15. The exam will be held on July 17.  

The council has also decided to reduce the number of elective for Professional Programme (New Syllabus-2017). The council has discontinued three elective papers from module-III that are Forensic Audit, Direct Tax Law and Practice and Valuations and Business Modelling.
