ICSI CSEET July 2023: Instructions to candidates for remote proctored mode
ICSI has issued important instructions to candidates appearing for CSEET July 2023 session. The exam will be conducted in remote proctored mode. The CSEET exam date 2023 for July session was revised to July 30. Know how to appear for the CSEET exam and important instructions here.
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has issued important instructions to candidates appearing for CSEET July 2023 session examination. The exam date was earlier revised to July 30, 2023. The CSEET will be conducted in remote proctored mode, that is candidates can take CSEET using their own laptop/desktop from home or any other convenient and isolated place. The CSEET admit card 2023 for July will be released tentatively on July 21, 2023 in online mode. Only candidates who have registered for the CSEET July 2023 exam will be able to download the CSEET admit card July 2023 at icsi.edu.
ICSI CSEET July 2023: Instruction to Candidates
- CSEET will be conducted in remote proctored mode instead of conducting at exam centres. Candidates can use their own laptop/desktop. Candidates will not be permitted to use mobile phones, tablet or palmtop like devices to appear for the exam.
- The viva voce portion of CSEET July 2023 stand cancelled.
- The CSEET July 2023 exam will be conducted for a duration of two hours. The question paper will consist of MCQs pattern as under:

- Candidates must take the print of the CSEET July 2023 admit card soon after the release. Candidates must ensure to verify the details mentioned on the admit card.
- Candidates will be continuously monitored through video/audio mode by the supervisor.
- While giving the exam, students must keep the following documents ready- admit card, any one of the identity cards issued by the Govt. Departments viz., Passport, PAN Card, Driving Licence, or Voter Card.
- Candidates must download the Dafe Exam Browser or SEBLite before taking the CSEET. Candidates must compulsorily attend the CSEET mock test to become familiar with the mode of examination.
CSEET July 2023: Technical Requirements
Desktop/Laptop
- Browser: Google Chrome version 8.0 & above
- Video/Audio: Webcam and a good-quality Mic is required. Enable webcam and mic under Chrome settings-Extensions
- Operating System β Windows 10 OR 11 (Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions) OR Windows 8/8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit) (all editions) OR Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) (all editions). Note - Up-to-date Service pack, device drivers, and security patches in the test-taking system.
- RAM & Processor: 4 GB+ RAM, i3 5th Generation 2.2 Ghz or equivalent/higher
- Pop-up blocker: Disable ad blocker/pop-up blocker under Chrome Extensions
- Cookies: Enabled
- Firewall: Disabled
- Anti- Virus: Disabled. "Any make" to be disabled can be re-installed post examination
- Admin-rights: Enabled. Candidate to have administrative privileges on the laptop/desktop to enable installation/uninstallations
- Any Remote Desktop Applications: Uninstalled
Internet Connection:
Recommended Internet speed per user: Dedicated Internet and Internet Bandwidth of min. 2MBPS (4G/ Wi-Fi) or above + upload speed.
