AILET 2022: NLUD not providing hostel accommodation to all male students

The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has issued a notification regarding hostel allocation and stated that due to the paucity of rooms the university would not be able to provide accommodation to all male students.

AILET 2022: NLUD not providing hostel accommodation to all male students

The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has halls of residence for both boys and girls students. However, it has notified that due to the paucity of rooms in the halls of residence for boys on the campus, the university is not able to provide accommodation to all male students on the university campus.

All female students have been allotted hostel in the girls hostel of the university campus.

NLUD hostel allocation to male students given on preferential basis

The university has clarified that it has provided accommodation to male students on a preferential basis as per the reservation policy and distance from Delhi. Moreover, the university is accommodating all students from the Persons with Disability category. The university has released a list of male students who have been allotted accommodation in the university's hostel and the rest of the students need to arrange their accommodation near the university campus.

NLUD Hostel Fees Details

The university has activated the AILET 2022 accounts of all female and male students who have been allotted the hostel on the university campus. These students need to pay their hostel fee latest by July 23, 2022. 

The hostel fees details include hostel deposit - INR 5000, mess deposit - INR 5000, room rent is INR 18000 per annum, hostel facilities are charged INR 20,000 per annum and mess advance for one semester is INR 21000.
