AKTU odd semester exams to begin from March 21

A detailed branch-wise schedule for Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) odd semester exams will soon be uploaded on the university’s website, aktu.ac.in, read the official notice.

AKTU Odd Semester Exams 2022: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced that it will conduct regular odd semester and carry over-exams for first, third semester and lateral entries from March 21, 2022. The university had earlier postponed the exams scheduled in February in view of the rising COVID-19 cases across the country.  

As per the official notification, “AKTU odd semester exam will be conducted for the first semester (all streams) and the third semester for BTech and BPharm students from March 21 to April 4. A detailed branch-wise schedule for AKTU odd semester exams will be uploaded on the university’s website, aktu.ac.in.”  

AKTU students demand online exams 

Though the university has already conducted odd semester 2021 exams in the offline mode from December 8, 2021 to January 15, 2022, several students want exams to be conducted in the online mode. They have also launched online protests to press for their demand. While assuming office earlier this month, the new Vice-Chancellor of AKTU, Pradeep Kumar Mishra, had said that if COVID-19 cases remained high, the university will opt for online exam as holding offline exams in such situation will put lives of students at risk.
