NATA 2020 application form likely to available in first week of February
Aspiring or NATA 2020? Application forms and registrations of NATA 2020 are likely to begin in the first week of February 2020.
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2020 application forms are likely to be available in the first week of February. NATA 2020 is a national-level exam conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA) for the candidates seeking admission in 5-Year BArch programme.
NATA is conducted twice in year to measure the aptitude of the applicants for Architecture. The test measures the skills important for being an Architect such as drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time.
Candidates aspiring to appear in NATA 2020 must have passed or are appearing in 10+2 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or 10+3 with Mathematics as compulsory subject can apply for the exam.
Latest Update: NATA 2020 Application Form Released
Before 2019, NATA used to be conducted by the CoA once in a year. In 2019, the exam for the first time was conducted twice in the month of April and July. It is likely to remain same for NATA 2020 as well.
Candidates are allowed to appear in one or both the sessions. Students’ best of the two scores will be considered for admission to BArch programme conducted by various institute across India.
NATA 2020 will be a three hour test to be conducted in both online and offline mode.
As per the previous year exam pattern of NATA, there will be a total of 60 questions from Mathematics and General Aptitude Test together (Online) and 2 questions from Drawing Test (Offline).
The CoA will release the NATA 2020 admit card separately for both the sessions on the official website.
As per as admission criteria to qualify for NATA 2020 is concerned, candidates have to fulfill below two conditions:
- Score more than or equal to 25% marks in MCQ as well as drawing portions
- Score equal to or more than overall qualifying marks (out of 200)
The application form for NATA 2020 will be available on the same date for both the sessions. The last date to fill the application form for both the sessions will be different.
