NATA 2021 Phase 2 exam ends; check student analysis

NATA 2021 has concluded. Read to know student analysis, assessment factors and details regarding NATA 2021 result for Phase 2. 

Council of Architecture (CoA) has concluded NATA 2021 Phase 2 exam on July 11. The entrance examination commenced at 10 AM and concluded at 1 PM. According to the candidates who attempted NATA 2021 Phase 2, the exam was of moderate difficulty. NATA 2021 was held as a computer-based test and the candidates were assessed on their aptitude.

NATA 2021 Phase 2 Student Analysis

NATA 2021 Phase 2 exam was found to be of moderate difficulty by most candidates. The majority of the questions in Section 1 were on general aptitude, decision making and general knowledge. As per the students, Section 1 was more difficult as compared to Section 2. There were 115 questions in Section 1 and 10 questions each of 3 marks in Section 2. The questions in Section 2  were image-based which had to be memorized and analyzed by the students.

Some students also complained about technical glitches before the exam commenced. 

According to the authorities, the questions were created to assess the candidates on the following factors:

• Inductive Reasoning - Candidates were tested on their ability to analyze data and patterns.
• Diagrammatic Reasoning - Candidates were tested on their ability to analyze drawings and use logical reasoning.
• Numerical Reasoning - Candidates were tested on their ability to solve simple numerical problems
• Verbal Reasoning - Candidates were assessed on their verbal logic.
• Situational Judgment - Candidates were tested on their problem-solving abilities.
• Abstract Reasoning - Candidates were tested on their general knowledge and their ability to apply it in situations.
• Logical Reasoning - Candidates were assessed on their ability to recognize patterns, relationships, sequences and more.

NATA 2021 result for Phase 2 will be released on July 15 on the official website – nata.in. The obtained scores and qualifying status of the candidates will be available in the NATA result. No common  NATA counselling will be conducted by CoA and candidates will have to individually apply for BArch admissions at their preferred institutes.
