The government of the National Capital has announced that from next year, i.e. 2022, Armed Forces Preparatory School will be introduced in Delhi. Udit Prakash, Director of Directorate of Education has made the announcement about the same.
After introducing the ‘Desh Bhakti’ curriculum in government schools, the Delhi government has taken another step towards infusing patriotism in the students. The government of the National Capital has announced that from next year, i.e. 2022, Armed Forces Preparatory School will be introduced in Delhi. Udit Prakash, Director of Directorate of Education has made the announcement about the same.
During the fourth session of the Motivational Speaker Series, the government’s decision to introduce Armed Forces Preparatory School in Delhi came into the public domain. Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Shakti Nagar organised the event. Many dignitaries including Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Colonel Rajesh Gupta graced the event with their presence. Appreciating the efforts made by the state government, Manish Sisodia expressed his happiness on this decision. He further expressed that all of these small steps will help in reaching the bigger goal of having the Desh Bhakti spirit. All this combined together will help in the progress of the country.
The minister also said that allowing girls to write National Defence Academy, NDA exams is a positive step towards equality and development and expressed his appreciation towards the same.
Udit Prakash highlighted the aim of the program by saying that through this initiative, every child in Delhi schools will have more confidence and motivation to be a part of the Army. Moreover, it will help in busting myths about the preparation of Union Public Service Commission, UPSC and NDA.
Students will be guided in the Armed Forces Preparatory School to prepare for NDA exam. The same would only be centred at Delhi Schools. Special attention will be given to the physical fitness, personality development and mental development of students. The government has also planned to organize an Army rally in Delhi this year at Bawana Stadium as a concerted effort towards the goal.
