Dharmendra Pradhan lays foundation stones of various buildings at Central Sanskrit University

Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan has laid the foundation stones of the Academic Administrative building and Girls and Boys hostel building, quarters, and sports facilities at the Central Sanskrit University, Shree Sadashiva Campus, Puri, Odisha. 

Vice Chancellor, Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi; Director, Central Sanskrit University, Shree Sadashiva Campus, Puri, Prof. Atul Kumar Nanda; Former Vice Chancellor, National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, Prof. Harekrushna Satapathy; other academicians, dignitaries, scholars, and students were also present at the function.

Dharmendra Pradhan said INR 36 crore will be spent on the construction of eight storied administrative and academic buildings on the campus. A six storied ladies hostel will be built at an estimated cost of INR 22 crore.

He also inaugurated a three-day International Seminar titled ‘Lakshmi Puran of Balaram Das: A New Discourse on Equity, Empowerment & Emancipation’ at the Campus.

National Sanskrit University Tirupati Vice Chancellor Prof GSR Krishnamurthy delivered Lecture on the Plenary session of Three Day International Seminar on Lakshmi puran at Central Sanskrit University Puri Campus.

As a part of celebration of Bharateeya Bhasha utsav (BBU) the department of Education, NSU, Tirupati organised singing competition under the theme' Show your Talent' (week 8) as suggested by Govt.of India & NCTE, on 17.11.2023. Dr. Seetharama Sharma, Assistant Professor and Dr. Kumar, Assistant Professor of Education Department, organised the program. Students of ITEP, B.ed. M.ed. of Department of Education took part in the competition. Dr. V.Balasubrahmanyam, Asst. Professor, Department of Education, Dr.Alok Mondal, Asst. Professor, Department of Education Dr. Chittaranjan Naik, Asst. Professor, Department of Jyotisha of NSU, acted as judges. The faculty members and Program coordinators of the department of Education attended the program.
