University of Bath invites applications for MA Gender and Politics

The University of Bath has opened its applications for an MA in Gender and Politics for the academic year 2024-25.

This course welcomes students from different undergraduate backgrounds. It is ideal for individuals seeking to develop their knowledge and understanding of the intersection between gender and politics at a national and international level, and those with an interest in how this interlinks with policy-making, politics, international relations, and political theory.

Graduates of the MA Gender and Politics course will be well-placed to work in gender policy roles, international organisations, multinational corporations, public bodies and think tanks. Graduates may also wish to consider taking their studies further with a PhD Politics, Languages and International Studies.

Students will learn about a variety of subjects, such as the politics of gender inequality, gender representation in politics, the role that gender plays in international peace and reconciliation, the advancement of gender equality in electoral organizations, and the role of gender in transitional justice. Topics are delivered in a global context ensuring they are relevant to students from different backgrounds.
